Welcome to Harbor Health Collective
At Harbor Health Collective, we help individuals and couples find their way back to themselves gently, steadily, and with a sense of hope. Many of the people who come here are healing from narcissistic abuse, recovering from toxic or emotionally confusing relationships, working through relationship communication issues, or seeking a more grounded sense of self during major life transitions.
Our work is grounded in a whole-person approach, integrating art-based and parts-oriented work (IFS), along with somatic and body-based techniques, including EFT (tapping), to support nervous system regulation and emotional safety. Rather than relying only on talking, we create space for your body and emotions to slow down, settle, and begin to make sense of what you’ve been carrying.
Whether you’re navigating narcissistic abuse recovery, hoping to strengthen your relationship through couples counseling, navigate co-parenting, or wanting to feel more rooted and steady moving through changing seasons of life, Harbor Health Collective offers a warm, calming place to land. A place where your story is honored, your feelings make sense, and where real, lasting healing can begin.
Our approach
Healing happens when the whole person is cared for: mind, body, and nervous system working together. At Harbor Health Collective, we guide clients toward safety, presence, and self-trust using a blend of evidence-based and body-centered approaches:
Art-Based Interventions
Art-based work offers a gentle way to explore emotions and experiences that can be hard to put into words. For both children and adults, creating something can feel safer than talking directly, especially when working through stress, trauma, or big feelings. Art helps slow the nervous system, build awareness, and create space for insight and healing to emerge naturally. No artistic experience needed! There is no right or wrong way to do this. The focus is not on making art, but on what shows up along the way.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
A compassionate, parts-based approach that helps you understand the different “parts” of yourself: the ones that protect you, the ones that carry old pain, and the calm, wise Self beneath it all. By approaching your inner world with curiosity rather than pressure, IFS supports healing from the inside out and helps you build trust within yourself.
Body-Based Approaches (Somatic Techniques & EFT/Tapping)
Body-based work focuses on how stress, trauma, and emotion live in the nervous system, not just in thoughts. Through somatic awareness, grounding practices, and EFT (tapping), we help the body settle, release stored tension, and feel safer. This work can reduce overwhelm and support emotional regulation in a steady, gentle way.
Couples & Co-Parenting Support
We use Gottman Method Couples Therapy, a research-based approach that supports healthier communication, trust-building, and emotional connection. We also offer guidance for co-parenting and navigating relational challenges with clarity, respect, and emotional safety.
Together, these approaches help you reconnect with yourself, regulate your emotions, and strengthen your relationships all in a compassionate, steady, and empowering way.
“Trauma is not only an event that took place in the past, it is also the imprint left by that experience on the mind, brain and body”
